Delivery

The Hip Infant is proud to offer a flat rate delivery of $8.50 this one off fee includes all handing, insurance and postage charges. This rate is relevent to Australian deliveries only, please refer below for international shipping rates.

Dispatch Times

All orders received prior to 1pm on any business day will be dispatched.
With the exception of custom orders or larger items, please refer to product description of these items for esitmated waiting periods.

Delivery Times

In order to provide a cost effective method of postage The Hip Infant uses the service s of both a courier service and Australia Post.

Next Business Day: All parcels less than 3kgs being delivered to a Metropolitan area.
Please note: this does not include oversized or awkward articles.

4–7 days: For all outer metro areas.
Please Note: all parcels require a signature therefore we regret The Hip Infant is unable to deliver to PO Boxes. For a prompt delivery process we suggest an attended address such as work is supplied.

Urgent Requests

Should you have a request for an urgent delivery, please contact us, we will do our very best to accommodate you.

Delivery Instructions

We are very happy to follow delivery instructions. However The Hip Infant will not be responsible for missing parcels when a request to leave without signature has been applied to the parcel.

Missing Parcels

On the rare occasion that a parcel does not arrive within the prescribed destination time:

  • Check for a courier calling card, these do misplace easily and are prone to being blown away or eaten by snails.
  • Contact your local PO or Mail Centre
  • Contact The Hip Infant here. Please allow the full estimated delivery time of 3 days for metro parcels and 7 days for all others.

Incorrect Delivery Address & Returned Parcels

In the instance where an incorrect address is provided or a parcel has been returned to The Hip Infant as undeliverable, an extra charge of $8.50 will apply.

Damaged & Missing Items from Parcel

  • Unfortunately from time to time items do get damaged in transit no matter how well we pack it. On the rare occasion this does occur please contact us immediately on receipt of goods, depending on the item and the damage we shall request the item be returned at our expense or ask that you provide us with a photo of the damage. Either way we shall promtly arrange a replacement to be sent.
  • Please check your parcel thoroughly for smaller items, it is possible they get missed amongst packaging and are at risk of being thrown out. In the case that an item has been ommited from your parcel please contact us and we shall arrange for the item to be sent immediately.
